~ VHS Student Announcements ~

  • Lunch for today is: Chicken Cordon Bleu Penne w/Breadstick, Hot Dog, Zesty Combo Sub, Uncrustable, Spicy Chicken Sandwich Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Aiden Thornton(17th), Trevor Burdick(20th), Shyanne Dawson(21st), Jessie Fay(21st), Tanner Two Strike(21st)

  • Happy Birthday to the following staff members this week: Mrs. Stoner(19th), Mr. Kluender(21st)

  • There is a sign up sheet outside Mrs. Adams' room for anyone interested in Mock Trial. 

  • FBLAers are headed to Broken Bow on Wednesday at 4:00pm for an area meeting with local chapters.  Please meet in Cardinal's room at 4:00 on Wednesday.  

  • If you are interested in joining FBLA, please stop by and visit with her before Wednesday, 8/19/26.

  • There will be an NHS meeting for all members on Wednesday, August 19th in Mrs. Adams room at 7:30am. 

  • Girls Golf Invite @ O’Neill at 9:00AM on Thursday. Bus will depart at 6:00AM.

  • FB/VB/XC Scrimmage @ VHS on Thursday. VB @ 5:00PM, FB/XC @ 6:00PM.

  • If you haven’t paid your $20 technology fee yet, that needs to be paid Today!

  • All students that are doing FFA this year, please find one of the officers during lunch to pay your $25 dues. Officers at 1st lunch are: Deklin, Gage, Josie, and River. Officers at 2nd lunch are: Haddie, Annalena, Clarrah, and Blake. DUES ARE DUE THIS FRIDAY (August 21st).  

  • FFA Mixer is Monday August 24th at 6:00 pm. It will be at the Ag Pavilion at the fairgrounds. 

  • If you are interested in Write the River this year, please see Mrs. Wonnenberg for more information and an application. We will canoe the Niobrara on Tuesday, August 25, and do a little creative writing.  

  • FBLA's kickoff meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 26, at 6 pm in the commons. Pizza and ice cream will be provided. Sign up outside Mrs. Cardinal's room to bring a topping. Hope to see you there!
