  • If we see a student in the hallway, without a pass, they will be given an automatic detention.  Having a sub is not an excuse. 

  • MATH TUTORING WITH KANDI IN MRS. HOEF’S ROOM TODAY!!!

  • FBLAers...Meeting on Thursday, 4/9/26, 5 - 6:30 pm.  Please bring your chrome book and your appetite.  We will be serving supper.  This meeting is all about state, so if your parents/guardians want to come to learn more, please bring them.  Please let Cardinal, Burke, or Todd know if you are unable to attend.

  • Varsity Golf @ 12:00PM on Thursday. Students will be dismissed at 9:15AM. 

  • Community Quiz Bowl on Friday.

  • If you are walking in the promenade on Saturday, make sure you are here by no later than 7:30 to take photos and get lined up. Please make sure you are looking sharp with no holes in clothing.

  • Prom on Saturday.

  • Juniors involved in National Honor Society need to return their community service hours to Mrs. Adams by April 17th.

  • Applications for the National Honor Society have been emailed to eligible Sophomores and Juniors.  Please return the completed applications to Mrs. Adams no later than April 17th.  If you did not receive an application and believe you should have, please contact Mrs. Adams.

  • Seniors, it is time to order carnations for graduation. Each student will receive 1 carnation, paid for by the senior class, to hand out at the graduation ceremony. Students are able to purchase up to 3 additional flowers for $2 a piece. Please let Mrs. Stoner know how many flowers you would like to order/purchase by April 17th. 

  • A reminder (from Mrs. J. Stoeger) $95 holds your spot on the trip to Greece. The registration deadline is 4/28 to save $200.  Prices are likely to increase in May. www.eftours.com/3037702MZ

  • Students-reminder that Mr. Beebout has the "V"s for letter jackets, and the pins for lettering available upon request.  Questions-see Mr. Beebout

  • Senior NHS members eligible for the NHS scholarship have been sent an application. The application must be returned by April 20th to be considered. No late applications will be accepted. If you did not receive an application and believe you should have, please see Mrs. Adams.

  • THE FINES LIST HAS BEEN UPDATED & SEVERAL STUDENTS ADDED - REMINDER: If you are on the fines and dues list or ineligible list, you will not be able to attend prom. 

  • ALL FFA MEMBERS: If you have any pictures from FFA events or contests that you would like to have included in the end of the year video at the banquet, please send them to Haddie Mundorf ASAP.

 POST PROM RULES: This year's post prom event will be held April 12th, 2026 at the Valentine Middle School Gym.  Post prom is open to all Juniors and Seniors, Prom Servers and their dates.The High School Prom Dance will dismiss at midnight. Students will have until 12:45 a.m. to get to Post Prom at the Middle School. If a student does not show up by 12:45 a.m., they will not be admitted. If a student has not paid the $10 fee to attend, this can be paid at the door.  Entertainment this year is Jason Christopher-magician and hypnotist. Students should get to the Middle School promptly after the dance. Optional activities will be available to students who wish not to watch/partake in the provided entertainment.  Post prom will run until approximately 3:30 a.m.  If a student leaves Post Prom early their parents will be notified to pick up the student and they are no longer eligible to receive prizes.  If a student becomes unruly or appears to be intoxicated at Post Prom, police will be called to remove the individual. There will be many games including and several other fun activities including lots of food and prizes.  This year students will earn “punches” on a punch card for participating in the various games and activities for chances to win numerous prizes. The Valentine Post Prom Committee is so very grateful for all the businesses and individuals who have donated cash and prizes for the annual Post Prom event.  This event could not be possible without community involvement and support.
