~ VHS Student Announcements ~

  • Lunch for today is: Tater Hotdish w/roll, Chicken Nugs w/roll, Baked Combo Sub, Uncrustable/Cheese, Cheeseburger Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Leti Alvarez (17th), 

  • Happy Birthday to the following staff members this week: 

  • US Marines reps will be here during the lunch shifts on Wednesday

  • There will be a quick meeting on Wednesday for any boys interested in going out for golf this year. We will meet in Randy's room.

  • Please help JAG students document how kind we are by completing the log sheets posted in the hallways. Since February is the month of Love, the JAG students want to provide the student body and staff a challenge of documenting 1000 kind acts. It is simple to complete: you are the “Observer”; whoever committed the kind act is the “Provider”; the “Receipt” is whomever the act was directed to. A “Key” is noted on the side to help categorize the acts of kindness.

  • There will be a GWR state send-off at 10:00AM on Monday. Students will be dismissed at 9:45AM.

  • FFA Officer Meeting @ Nollette’s Room at 7:00AM on Tuesday.

  • State GWR on Tuesday.

  • No School: District In-Service on Thursday.

  • No School: Winter Break on Friday. 

  • Boys JV/V Basketball @ Home at 5:00PM on Friday. 

  • No School: Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday 2/23. 

  • Juniors and seniors that signed up for the Wayne State College visit, we will depart at 5:30 am and return around 4 pm on Wednesday, February 25th.  Lunch will be provided at the college.

  • Seniors involved in National Honor Society need to return their community service hours to Mrs. Adams by March 17th.  Juniors need to return their hours by April 17th.

  • Speech shirts, crew necks, and hoodies are available for purchase! Please see a speech member to get your order in by February 24th. Speech members include: Landen Mooney, Sari LaDeaux, Josie Shaul, River Doyle, Praise Maunu, Shyanne Dawson, Camilla Brown, Bella Johnson & Vani Johnson.
