  • Lunch for today is: Buffalo Chicken Rice, Ham & Cheese Melt, Combo Sub, Uncrustable/Cheese, Cheeseburger Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Deklin Titus(26th), Kassie Hanson(27th), Dylan Kite (30th), Praise Maunu (1st)

  • Congratulations to the girls basketball team for winning the SPVA conference!

  • Congratulations to the boys basketball team for earning 3rd place in the SPVA conference!

  • Congratulations to the high school speech team for their efforts at the Broken Bow Speech Meet!! 8 out of 9 of our kids placed in finals! We are so proud of you all! Camilla Brown 2nd in POI, 4th in Poetry, and 9th in Extemporaneous, Shyanne Dawson 3rd in Poetry, River Doyle 4th in Informative, & 8th in Persuasive, Praise Maunu 9th in Humorous, Ara’Vani Johnson 2nd in Extemporaneous, Josie Shaul 11th in Entertainment, & Josie Shaul/Landen Mooney 7th in Duet. 

  • UNK Honor Band & Choir on Monday. Students departed on Sunday. 

  • G/B BB Varsity @ Home at 4:00PM on Monday. Students will be dismissed at 3:00PM. 

  • G/B BB JV/V @ Home at 4:30PM on Tuesday.

  • FFA CDE #1 @ North Platte at 8:30AM on Wednesday. Bus will depart at 5:40AM. 

  • FBLA Best of the West @ Chadron on Wednesday. Bus will depart at 7:00AM.

  • Girls Wrestling @ Ainsworth at 12:00PM on Friday. Students will be dismissed at 9:00AM. 

  • Boys Wrestling @ Home at 6:00PM on Friday. 

  • Boys V Wrestling @ Ainsworth at 10:00AM on Saturday. Bus will depart at 7:15AM. 

  • Speech @ Perkins County on Saturday. Bus will depart at 4:30PM on Friday. 

  • Seniors, your $20 class dues need to be paid to Reeves by January 30th. 

  • Reminder to those that are participants in coronation there will be a practice at 1PM on Sunday February 1st. 

  • Valentine 82nd Coronation “Hearts in Wonderland” will be held on Sunday February 1st, 2026. Candidates and participants will have a practice at 1PM on February 1st with the ceremony to follow. Tickets will be available soon. Students that purchase a ticket for $3 attend the ceremony will get into the dance with ticket. We hope to see you all there!   The dance will be held from approximately 7-10PM on Sunday. $5 per person or a ceremony ticket. 

  • Leo Brinda Unit #90 American Legion Auxiliary invites everyone to create homemade Valentines for area Veterans. Around 1,000 are needed per year to reach regional Veteran Homes and individuals.  Cards must be no larger than 8.5” x 11”. Drop off at Valentine Public Library or KVSH Radio by 5:30 pm on February 2.
