 ~ VHS Student Announcements ~

  • Lunch for today is: Taco Burger, Cheese/Pepperoni Pizza, Zesty Combo Sub, Uncrustable, Spicy Chicken Sandwich Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Kealy Titus (5th), Payten Daugherty (6th), Jaeden Garwood (6th)

  • Happy Birthday to the following staff members this week: 

  • Check out the bargains in The Badger Bargain Bin in the Commons.  Specials will change out each day after lunch.  Grab your bargain and bring it to Mrs. Cardinal to check out.

  • Last day to change your schedules will be January 12th!!

  • Boys Varsity Wrestling @ Columbus at 9:30AM on Friday. Students departed on Thursday.

  • G/B BB JV/V @ Broken Bow at 4:30PM on Friday. Students will be dismissed at 1:15PM. 

  • Boys Varsity Wrestling @ Columbus at 9:30AM on Saturday. 

  • Mock Trial has concessions on Monday, January 12th.  There is a sign up sheet outside Mrs. Adams' room.

  • FBLAers...Meeting on Monday, 1/12/26, 6 - 7:30 pm.  Please bring your chrome book and your appetite.  We will be serving supper.  Please let Cardinal, Burke, or Todd know if you are unable to attend.

  • There will be a short meeting Tuesday Jan 13 @ 8:00AM for all the Teammate Mentees in the Commons.

  • Valentine 82nd Coronation “Hearts in Wonderland” will be held on Sunday February 1st, 2026. Candidates and participants will have a practice at 1PM on February 1st with the ceremony to follow. Tickets will be available soon. Students that purchase a ticket for $3 attend the ceremony will get into the dance with ticket. We hope to see you all there!   The dance will be held from approximately 7-10PM on Sunday. $5 per person or a ceremony ticket. 

  • Leo Brinda Unit #90 American Legion Auxiliary invites everyone to create homemade Valentines for area Veterans. Around 1,000 are needed per year to reach regional Veteran Homes and individuals.  Cards must be no larger than 8.5” x 11”. Drop off at Valentine Public Library or KVSH Radio by 5:30 pm on February 2.

  • Chairs on the gym deck near the Videoboard controls are for Broadcasting, and Broadcasting only.

  • Congratulations to the 2026 Coronation candidates. 

  • Queen/Princess and King/Prince nominees are Aubrey Benson, Katelyn Dorsey, Aiden Hand, Ashlyn Hutchinson, Grace Murphy, Samantha Sprenger, Jordan Bailey, Garrett Cumbow, Sutton Schrunk, Caden Stankowski, Jekhi Williams, and Reeves Witte. Duke and Duchess candidates from the Junior Class are Jessalyn Fay, Ashley Mora Lira, Rylee Wackler, Duncan Mosner, Deklin Titus, and Allen Ward. Sophomore Countess and Count nominees are Annalena Nelson, Leah Osnes, Addison Stec, Jackson Huggins, Boone Jespersen, and Raken Tinant. Freshmen page royalty candidates are Devahney Belville, Mia Sherbeyn, Tylee Tinant, Aiden Buckendahl, Gage Sandoz, and Parker Wackler. If you are a participant or candidate practice is Sunday February 1st and the ceremony will be at 5:30.if you are wanting to order a tux just a reminder to do so soon. NOT MANDATORY.
