~ VHS Student Announcements ~

Date: Nov. 14th, 2025

  • Lunch for today is: Italian Chicken Pasta, Cheese/Pepperoni Pizza, Zesty Combo Sub, Uncrustable/Cheese, Spicy Chicken Sandwich Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Noah Wade (10th), Ella Hanson (11th), Clarrah Beebout (12th), Aubrey Benson (14th), King Brown (16th)

  • Happy Birthday to the following staff members this week: Kaylyn Reiser (11th)

  • Congratulations to those who earned outstanding actors awards at the Cozad One Act Festival yesterday: Praise Maunu, Hope Woodraska, Josie Shaul, Sari Ladeaux, and Camilla Brown.

  • Interact Blood Drive in the HS Multipurpose room from 9:00AM-1:00PM on Friday.

  • One Act @ Ainsworth at 9:30AM on Saturday. Bus will depart at 7:45AM.

  • Group State Wrestling Ticket orders are now being taken at the high school office.  Girls State Wrestling will be held February 17th and 18th.  Ticket price for the 2 day girls tournament is $30 per person.  Boys State Wrestling will be held February 19-21.  Ticket price for the boys 3 day tournament is $40 per person. (Boys individual sessions can be purchased for $10/ea.) Payment is due at the time the order is placed.  Please have ticket orders into the high school office no later than December 5th, 2025.

  • If you have things in the girls locker room that are NOT in a locker, those items will be thrown away today!!

NEXT WEEK

  • FFA District LDE @ Wallace at 8:00AM on Monday. Bus will depart at 5:00AM. 

  • One Act @ Gothenburg at 9:00AM on Tuesday. Students will be dismissed at 10:15AM. 

  • An Intro to Life setup on Tuesday.

  • Attention all sophomores: On Wednesday, 11/19/25, you will be participating in the "An Intro To Life" event at the Cherry County Fairgrounds with sophomores from five surrounding schools and businesspeople from all our communities.  You will meet in the commons after first hour is over and walk to the fairgrounds, so please dress accordingly (coat, hat, etc.).  Please wear your Badger gear for the day.  We will feed you lunch (pizza).  You will return for your 9th period class.  

  • FFA Officer Meeting @ Nollette’s Room at 7:00AM on Thursday.

  • CNA Students to North Platte on Thursday. Bus will depart at 7:30AM.
