  ~ VHS Student Announcements ~

Date: May 5th, 2025

  • Lunch for today is: Chicken Pot Pie, Cheese Burger, Uncrustable/Cheese, Grilled Chicken Basket

  • Varsity Golf @ Ainsworth at 9:00AM on Monday. Bus will depart at 7:15AM.

  • HS Honors Night tonight at 7:00PM.

  • Welding Certification @ WNCC on Tuesday. 

  • Army National Guard rep will be here during lunch shifts on Tuesday.

  • The Student Council will be having their annual talent show on Tuesday May 6th at 6:30 PM. Anyone is welcome to participate. Registrations can be picked up at any VCS School, KVSH, or Valentines City Library. All proceeds will benefit Mrs. Springer with medical expenses.  

  • JV Golf @ Thedford on Wednesday at 2:00PM. Dismissal TBD

  • Baccalaureate will be held on Wednesday May 7th at 7:00pm in the auditorium.

  • Seniors, if you are interested in reading a Bible verse at the baccalaureate please reach out to Kimber.

  • Varsity Golf @ Home at 10:00AM on Thursday. Departure TBD.

  • FFA Officer Meeting May 8th at 7:00 am

  • No School on Friday for District In-Service.

  • HS Track Invite @ Home at 10:00AM on Friday.

  • Varsity Golf @ Thedford at 4:00PM on Friday. Bus will depart at 2:00PM.

  • Yearbooks are now on sale.  Scan one of the flyers hanging around the school to order yours today.  Yearbook orders are due by 5/30.

  • Reminder to students that all lunch balances and fines MUST be paid before you signed out at the end of the year.
