 ~ VHS Student Announcements ~

Date, September 4th, 2024

  • Lunch for today is: Super Nachos, Hot Dog, Uncrustable/Cheese, Spicy Chicken San Basket

  • Any internship students that are going to the library, need to make a pass to go.  

  • Activity Passes are available at the high school office.

  • The afterschool program is looking for a couple of high school students who are interested in working after school.  Must be 16 years old to work at the program.   You can pick up an application in the office.

  • FFA Range Judging will be at Nenzel today.  Students will dismiss at 8:15am

  • Girls Varsity Golf will be at West Holt on Thursday. Students will depart at 6:30AM.

  • XC will be at Ainsworth on Thursday. Students will be dismissed at 2:00PM. 

  • Volleyball will be at Winner on Thursday. R/JV/V will play at 5:15/6:30/7:45. Students will be dismissed at 2:30.

  • There is a Varsity Football game at home on Friday. 

  • If you are planning to take a homecoming date from out of town. Please complete the out-of-town date form found in the office. This needs to be completed and back to the office by Monday September 30th.

  • Applications for Write the River which will be Monday, Sept. 23 are in the office. Pick one up if you are interested. 

  • IF you are interested in going to Ireland and Scotland in 2026 and have NOT signed up already, there will be a meeting at VMS library at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 9.  The itinerary, costs, payments plans, etc. will be covered. If you can not make it to the meeting, but would like to sign up, please email Mrs. Janell Stoeger at jstoeger@vcsbadger.net.

  • Attention Seniors. You have been sent a ballot for the 2024 Homecoming Royalty Selection. If you did not receive one, please email Mrs. Arganbright or Mrs. Buechle so they can get you one. 

  • All juniors and seniors will be attending a College Fair in Mullen on Monday, September 9th.  We will be gone from 9:30-1:30.  Students, please be sure to pack a lunch to eat on the bus that day.
