Valentine Community Schools

Lunch for Wednesday: Loaded Hashbrowns, Mozzarella Twiz-Sticks, Crispy Chicken Sandwich Basket, or Uncrustable, Cheese, & Cracker Platter

Coronation will be held Sunday February 4th at 5:30 PM at the High School gym. Gentlemen if you’d like to order a tux be sure to order from Outback or Young's. A tux is not required, but is an option. There will be a dance following the ceremony approximately 8-11PM. If you purchase a ceremony student ticket for $3 and attend the ceremony your dance entrance is covered. Otherwise it is $5 for single and $8 couple. Tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Arganbright during lunch or after school. All proceeds go back to help the students at VCS in a variety of ways. 

All students (and teachers!) are encouraged to make Valentines for Veterans!  Cards should be no larger than 8.5 x 11 and are due by Feb. 2.  Drop off boxes are located at the library, KVSH, and the Extension Office.  Questions?  Call 402-389-1655.  

Varsity Girls/Boys Wrestling will be at O’Neill today at 5:00 PM. Students will dismiss at 1:15 PM for a 1:30 PM departure. 

JV/V GBB/BBB will be at home vs Stuart on Thursday. There will be no JV girls game. All games will be at the high school. JV Boys (2 quarters) @ 4:00pm. Varsity Girls @ 5pm. Varsity Boys to follow (approx 6:30pm).

JV/V GBB/BBB will be at Broken Bow on Friday at 4:30. Students will be dismissed at 1:15 PM for a 1:30 PM departure. 

Varsity Girls wrestling will be at Hemingford on Friday at 1:00 PM. Students will dismiss at 8:15 AM for an 8:30 AM departure. 

Varsity Boys wrestling will be at Chadron on Friday at 11:00 AM. Students will depart at 7:15 AM.

Varsity Girls/Boys wrestling will be at Chadron on Saturday at 10:00 AM. 

The Army National Guard rep will be here on Monday, January 22nd, during the lunch shifts
