  • Congrats to all middle school tracksters! Paige, Danika, Annalena, Addison and Clarrah competed at state meet this last weekend. Danika tied for 9th in the high jump, Paige was 19th in the 100 hurdles and 20th in the 200 hurdles, 4x400 was 11th! Great job! Mr. Jensen and Mr. Little will be over on Tuesday to finish up uniform check in. $50 for a uniform, $10 sweat bottoms.

  • Fines/Fees that need to be paid immediately before the end of the year are posted on the office window - these are updated frequently so you better take look each time you pass by and make sure your name isn’t on there. Get them taken care of so that you can check out on Friday.

  • 6th graders are off exploring our great state of Nebraska for the next 3 days with Mr. Pettigrew, Mrs. Breuklander and Mrs. Gass. If you are in Mrs. Breuklander’s Badger Pause, please report to Mrs. Steskal’s room 9th period, if you are in Mrs. Gass’ Badger Pause, please report to Mr. Pettigrew’s room 9th period.

  • 8th graders will walk over to the high school today at 2 p.m. to take a tour of the school.

  • On Wednesday afternoon 5th graders go BOWLING and 8th graders will watch SANDLOT! Fantastic job on the NSCAS testing, you put in the effort and proved to yourself and others that you are capable of learning, growing, and SHOWING UP.

  • Chromebook check in for 5th, 7th and 8th graders will be Thursday during 8th period. You will need to check in your chromebook, charger and case. Students will be checking out that day, check out sheets will be in teacher’s mailboxes for 1st period - students will take their check out sheet with them to every class and have teachers sign off on it. Students will be cleaning out their lockers that day as well - if you have a lot of STUFF in your locker, bring an extra backpack or bag to take it all home with you. Check out sheets DO NOT leave the building. They must be turned into your Badger Pause teacher at the end of the day.

  • Valentine Voyagers (Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii trip)-final meeting to prep is NEXT Monday, May 22 at VMS Library, 7 p.m.. Bring funds if you haven’t paid for bus, t-shirt and tips AND funds IF you are having Mrs. Stoeger exchange for you.

  • Summer forms available outside of the office: Baseball & Softball, Badger Cub Club, Niobrara Day Camp - lots of fun activities for when school gets out!

  • Teen Center on May 20th, 7-10 p.m., $5.00 admission - 5th graders can attend! Consent forms must be signed and handed in when you go, there are forms outside the office.

CLUBS THIS WEEK:  (3:40pm - 4:40pm) - Homework Help Club meets every day after school in the library.
