May 3, 2023

  • Lunch for Thursday: Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup, Popcorn Chicken, Ham & Cheese Sub or Fruit, Yogurt & Cheese Platter .

  • Any seniors who would like to read a Bible verse at the Baccalaureate celebration on May 10th need to talk to Grace Maunu so you can be put on the schedule. 

  • Attention Graduates: If you want to give more than 1 carnation on graduation you need to give the number to Mrs. Stoner! You are responsible for paying for any extra you order! We will collect on sign out day, so be prepared!

  • Juniors planning on taking Internship next school year need to check their emails and complete a Google Form ASAP. All steps need to be completed prior to leaving for summer break or you will have to take a different class. If you did not receive an email please visit with Mrs. Shelbourn. 

  • High School Girls wanting to play 18U softball this summer, please see Mrs. Buechle.

  • Don’t forget to sign up for the 2nd annual Student Council Talent show May 9th at 7PM! Share your talents! Singing, stand up comedy, roping, or magic!! Registrations are available at any school office, KVSH or City Library! Hope to see you there!

  • Attention all students. Check your email for an email from James to help him and Connor with a Stats project. Thank you.

  • Seniors - There are still a few of you who have dues that have not been paid.  These must be paid before graduation

  • The Valentine After school program is looking to hire 1 to 2 high school students to work this summer and next school year.  The program would like to hire someone who is interested in getting paid to have fun and become mentors to elementary and middle school students.  Must be 16 years or older.  If you are interested please contact Rachelle O'Kief at rokief@vcsbadger.net.

  • SWC Golf will be at Minden on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Students will depart at 6:45 AM.

  • Track will be at home tomorrow at 10:00 AM. This meet has been moved due to Friday’s weather.

  • There will be no school on Friday, May 5th.

  • Varsity Golf will be at Thedford on Friday at 4:00 PM.

  • There will be a mandatory NHS meeting for all Current NHS members on Wednesday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Adams' room.  We will be getting ready for Honors Night on Monday, May 8th.

  • Feather tying ceremony will be on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church.

  • FBLAers and Future FBLAers...if you are helping with the Krispy Kreme fundraiser, meet in Cardinal's room at 11 am on Friday morning.  Please eat lunch before you come...it is going to take us 5-7 hours to sell our doughnuts.  After the doughnuts are sold, we will head to our party.  PLEASE think about what you will need for the day - bring a bottle of water or two, sunglasses, a rain jacket, a camp chair, etc
