  • Lunch: Hot Pepperoni Sub, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Peas, Gelatin Dessert
  • The votes have been tallied for Nebraska's 2019 Golden Sower book awards. Nebraska students have chosen the following books as their favorites: 
    • Chapter Book division: 1st Place is "Maxi's Secret"
      • Runners up awards go to "The Wild Robot" & "Wish"
    • Novel division:  1st place is "Scythe"
      • Runners up awards go to "Projekt 1065" & "The Girl I Used to Be".
  • Thanks to all VMS students who read & voted this year.
  • There will be an informational meeting on Monday for any 8th graders that are interested in playing football next year as a freshmen. Meeting will be at 3 p.m. in Mr. Bish’s room.
  • No school tomorrow due to Inservice and the VMS & VHS Invitational Track Meet at 10 a.m. Classes resume Monday, May 6th at regular time.
  • Today is the last day for the Taco Bar in the multi purpose room, there are a lot of tacos left so please use it up and spread kindness!
