The VCS Board of education approved the 2019-20 calendar during the board meeting held on Monday, March 18.
One change that was made is that the graduation date for 2020 was moved back to May 16, 2020. The graduation ceremony is typically held on the Saturday before Mother's day. It was determined that having it a week later would be less conflict with the Valentine Invitational track meet and also allows school to start after the Cherry County fair. The biggest and most important reason is that this allowed more instructional days for our students.
