VMS Wrestlers will be traveling to Rushville today for their first meet. Wrestlers are in charge of getting their assignments from teachers and having them completed! Meet begins at 2 p.m. CST. Team will be dismissed at 10:45 am and will depart at 11 am. There will be no spectators allowed due to gym capacity restrictions. The Salvation Army is looking for Bell Ringers for the Holiday Season. Ringers are needed from November 27 through December 24th. If you are interested, please contact Shelley Pier at 402-322-5400 - there are also flyers posted in the office window with more information.

VMS Student Council is asking for NEW gloves, hats, mittens, and scarves for their Warming Tree Drive. Children through adult sizes are welcome. They are also collecting graham crackers for school snacks. Both donation drives will run until December 1st. Please donate what you can!
With gym capacity restrictions set at 50% we have the following information for attending upcoming Middle School Events: Nov 5th - Gordon/Rushville MS Wrestling is not allowing any fans. Nov 10th - Valentine MS Wrestling Invite - each athlete will be given 2 tickets to distribute to who they want to attend. Tickets have to be presented at the gate to be allowed in. NO EXCEPTIONS. Admission will have to be paid with your ticket. Nov 10th - Valentine Girls vs North Central in basketball. Each student will be given 4 tickets to distribute to who they want to attend. Tickets have to be presented at the gate to be allowed in. NO EXCEPTIONS. Admission will have to be paid with your ticket. Nov 14th - MS Wrestling at Chadron. Each athlete will be allowed to have 2 people in attendance. Those attending must check in with the person at the gate and identify which student they are there for.
