American Legion Auxiliary Unit 90 and the Valentine Lions Club are celebrating our Veterans & Remembering Our Fallen with a Potato Bar & Chili Feed Monday, Nov. 11th from 5-7 pm at the fairgrounds. Fireworks will go off at 7:30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to also visit the Memorial Wall Nov. 9th-13th at the Fairgrounds.
The Veteran’s Day Program will be combined with the other schools at the VHS gym at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11th. Classes Monday will run on a 1:30 p.m. dismissal schedule and we take buses over. The program is expected to last about an hour. Students will be dismissed from the high school so please make sure that you visit with your parents/guardians on what you will do after the program. Please make sure to wear your COATS - it’s supposed to be very cold that day!
