For the second year Facebook family and friends of Mrs. Keri McClellen have stepped up to fund books and other supplies for her students in 3B. Last year she asked for those friends on Facebook who wanted to help out with purchasing books could donate money so every student in her class could get their own book from Scholastic Book Clubs and the response was overwhelming. Each student in 3B will receive a FREE book for each month of the school year. This year, after she purchased each of her students' a copy of Charlotte's Web she had money left over to purchase other supplies she was in need of. What a great way to help invest in the education of our youth. Thank you so much to those who donated! You made a difference in a young person's reading journey and Valentine Elementary truly appreciates it!
