  • Thanksgiving Break is next week and it has been extended. This additional time off is not designed to extend the break for extra travel. We really need help from the entire community to slow the spread of Covid-19 so that we may continue in person learning and provide activities for our students for the remainder of the school year. Everyone is encouraged to avoid the 3 C’s - Crowded Places, Close Contact, and Confined Spaces - so that we can slow the spread of Covid-19 and remain in our in person learning environment.  There will be NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, November 25th, Thursday 26th, Friday 27th, Monday 30th and December Tuesday 1st. Classes will resume on Wednesday December 2nd at 8 a.m.   All extracurricular activities on these dates will go on as previously scheduled.

  • VMS Girls Basketball will have a home game today vs. Bennett County at 5:30 p.m. in the VMS Gym. Good Luck Lady Badgers! We are operating at 25% capacity. That means that for VMS games, each player is allowed 2 tickets. The tickets can only be used by people that live in the same household of the athlete - they can't be shared with anyone else per Governor's directive. Those in attendance must sit with their family members and social distance from other families (6 ft). Masks are required for all events. We ask that you do your best to follow the directives as it is helping keep our students in school and activities. We will continue to adjust as new measures come out.

  • VMS Wrestling team will be traveling to Mullen tomorrow for their tournament at 11 a.m. Athletes will be dismissed at 8:15 a.m. and will depart at 8:30 a.m.  Good Luck Badgers! Mullen is not allowing any fans. The tournament can be viewed on livestream at: https://striv.tv/channel/mullen/
