  • Lunch: Combo Sub, Hot Pepperoni Sub, Chicken Nuggets w/Dinner Roll, Fresh Broccoli, Scalloped Potatoes, Milk or Juice

  • Homecoming week! Remember school spirit dress up days. They are posted on the bulletin board in the front lobby. Tomorrow is Decade Day, dress up according to your favorite decade! - remember that you need to still follow school dress code and keep your dress up attire appropriate.

  • Miles for Smiles will be held on Thursday here at VMS. Blue forms were handed out to you in Badger Pause, please return these forms to the office before Thursday! Students that are participating will be dismissed by the office.

  • **Note changes in departure time**  Cross Country will be traveling to Gothenburg on Thursday for their last meet of the season. Meet begins at 4 p.m., team will depart at 11:55 a.m. so athletes will need to eat first lunch shift and be ready to get on the bus at 11:55. Good luck Badgers!

  • VMS Football will host their last game of the season on Thursday at 5 p.m. against Gordon-Rushville at the VHS Football Field. Mrs. Hand’s Badger Pause group will work the concessions stand and Mrs. Galvin will be working at the gate for admissions. Good luck Badgers!

  • There will be a 2 p.m. dismissal on Friday for the Homecoming Parade. The parade will be at 2:30 p.m. on Main Street. Remember to be safe and make wise choices!

  • Student Council members are invited to help decorate the front lobby next Monday (October 12th) after school. Make sure you don’t have any other obligations first.

  • The Cherry County Hospital Therapy Department is hosting a “Trick-or-Trot 5k Race” and a “Scary Scurry 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk” on October 17th. Costumes are encouraged! Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume, an award for Best Costume will be given along with awards for youth 16 and under. Please see the office for a form if you are interested.
