SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK
Lexi Long, Freshman
This young woman is fabulous and she did something this week that made a big impression on me...she came in on a day off of school to complete her work on time. Woot, woot! Lexi knew she would be gone for a school activity the day her weekly assignments were due; the two days prior, we didn't have school. She knew she would not be able to complete her work in class, so she took responsibility and came in to complete it on her own time. In a world of balancing work, home, and social life, time-management is a struggle for all of us. I would love to applaud Lexi for understanding the importance of managing her time and responsibilities well. This ability is rare and this is wonderful. Keep it up, Lexi, you are rocking it!

BADGER OF THE WEEK
Mekallyn Bancroft, Sophomore, Golf
Mekallyn shot a personal best 82 at the Valentine Invite and helped lead the team to a score of 380 to win by 56 shots. Mekallyn has finished in the top 5 in her last 3 tournaments.
