There is no C or JV volleyball practice after school tonight.
Congratulations to the Girls Golf Team for their first place finish yesterday with a 384 and earning 5 medals. Shauna Radant and Makellyn Bancroft tied for first place with an 89, went to a 2 hole playoff with Shauna being victorious with a birdy on the last hole. Shauna placed 1st with an 89, Makellyn Bancroft 2nd with 89, Jaycie Cox 6th with 99, Nicole Williams 7th with 100 and Becca McGinley 9th with 106.
Seniors with a GPA of 3.5 or greater - please check your email for a message from Mr. Cronin related to Believers and Achievers applications. Your application is due no later than today at noon.
The deadline for the October 24 ACT is September 17. Late registrations are accepted for an additional fee through September 25. Register at act.org - see Mrs. Kilmer if you need assistance.
Reminder to those taking dual-credit classes - turn your forms in to Mrs. Kilmer by today. You will also need to complete your online application to MPCC if this is your first year for dual-credit and take the Accuplacer (if needed). No payment is required so do not let this opportunity for college credit pass you by. See Mrs. Kilmer if you have questions.
Seniors will be painting Senior parking spots from 7 am till 3 pm Saturday.
Attention freshmen-juniors. Beginning MONDAY 8/31 DO NOT PARK in a painted spot. Those are reserved for the seniors that paid for them. Please find the fine list in the office window if you so choose to park in the painted parking spot.
Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will not need to be in school September 22nd as that is the date set for the Seniors to take the ACT here at the high school from 8:00 till noon. September 23rd is a District wide in-service so there is not school that day for students.
Varsity Volleyball at Minden Saturday at 9:00 am. Departure will be at 5:00 pm today. Masks will need to be worn for those attending the Volleyball games at Minden Saturday.
JV Football here vs. Hershey at 6:00 pm Monday.
We've been getting some questions about homecoming festivities lately. We plan on having all homecoming activities as of now. However, only current Valentine High School students grades 9-12 will be allowed to the dance. More information will be given as we approach homecoming week. Thank you for your understanding.
Varsity Football here vs. Crofton at 7:00 pm. Tonight’s football game students are not required to wear mask but must social distance in the stands. Tonight is parents night for Senior football.
Football managers, please be back to the high school at 5:30 pm to help set up for tonight's game.
All sports passes are available from Mr. Brown for $35.00 students and $70.00 adults. Family passes are $175.00. Admission to games is $5.00 students and $6.00 adults. Please remember to have your pass with you when attending games or be prepared to pay.
