Interview with Blake Beebout

A lot of people might be curious of what our football team has in store for this year’s football season. To try to negate said confusion, we decided to interview the head football coach, Blake Beebout. Here’s what he had to say: Some of his goals for the season include that the team works together and makes it into the playoffs. He has a great feeling about this season, because his players care about winning and always put themselves in the best positions to be successful. Some challenges that Coach Beebout had to overcome this year were replacing the positions of graduated seniors, and learning new positions with that. He also says that he has confidence in this season, and his team, as he wouldn’t trade out any players for anyone in the entire state. He enjoys every year of working with his players and assistant coaches, and says that every year is his best year. To Beebout, seeing his players develop into young men is the most rewarding part of coaching. Overall, he wants to teach his players to have the same attitude towards life, as they do towards football. To go out and make life happen.”Football is also a lot like life, you are going to face adversity-it is not going to go the way you want it always-you have to respond to adversity and work to achieve the goals you wish to attain” - Blake Beebout
