Girls Golf West Holt Invitational

The Girls Golf Team traveled the West Holt Invitational on September 2. The team endured 35 mile per hour winds, but a pleasant 72 degrees. Even in the challenging wind Valentine had 2 medalists. Michelle Renning received a medal for shooting a 98 and Alex Bauer received a medal for her 112.
The rest of the team held their own in the wind. Shawna Wheeler shot a 122, with Shae DeNaeyer at a125 and Sarah Michlek with a 127.
The team ended up in 3rd place out of 10 teams with a team score of 457. Loosing only to Hartington with a 451 and West Holt at a 454.
